Brentwood

This “Contemporary” style two storey architecturally designed home has been designed for a family with two adult children. The design has included renewable energy features such as orientating the home to face north, cross ventilation of the home easily by ensuring the breeze path is not obstructed and windows being the correct size and placement to allow this to happen. This has also been achieved by the use of eaves, pergolas and shade sails. The use of concrete slab on ground with floor tiling above has allowed thermal mass. This home has achieved a 6.5 star energy rating:

Key features include the following:

Internally –  stone bench tops throughout, full height wall tiling to wet areas,  travertine tiled floor and timber floor to living areas, feature bulkheads and raised ceilings, structured/smart wired cabling, internal insulated wine cellar, stainless steel balustrade
